Hook System or Code Change Details
#1
Information
I've realized that I made A LOT of changes to the core files and next update I'm pretty much screwed.

Alternatively, it would be awesome if you release the code changes with your bug/security updates like vBulletin does so users can manually update their installations without having to overwrite all of their changes. Even if you just released a listing of the files that were changed it would be better than nothing. Wink

Would a full SVN diff. report work? Tongue

Big Grin Yeah, and to be honest, there are no such things as THT plugins. They're just core file hacks. Sad

Even though core file edits, most of the time it is easy to reimplement the works.

Well with a hook system then people can start releasing real plugins. I've already got a handful myself. Wink
