Basic Plugin Howto Doc?

Is there a basic "how to create a plugin" doc? Or could someone recommend a plugin that is a good skeleton?

I'm looking to create a couple plugins:

• Use MyBB's newpoints instead of THT's basic P2H system
  
• MaxMind queries

The Reworked version is the only fork of THT that has an actual plugin interface. Most plugins are clever edits that change as little code as possible and include the rest to make upgrading less of a pain.

There's currently no "hook" system for THT. I had to do my plugins the way files are built into the core.
