Cancel User Terminates the cpanel account?
#1
I thing this is a bug. I tried to cancel a user only from THT installation as its description says
Quote:Removes this account from the package in THT. The account it self is not touched.

but it terminated the actual account on the server as well as THT.

I think by that it means that there will be no Package any longer in Kloxo to associate the Client Details with.
(more than a little misleading)

Could Read
Quote:Removes the Account Package from your Control Panel. The Client Details are not touched in THT.
Not sure it classifies as a Bug!
So I have Edited:
root/includes/tpl/clientview.tpl
Code:
<tr id="cancelTr">
        <td width="1%" align="center"><img src="<URL>themes/icons/package_delete.png" /></td>
        <td align="left"><a id="cancelLink" title="Removes this account from the package in THT. The account itself will not be touched." class="tooltip" href="javascript:void(0);">Cancel User</a></td>
      </tr>

I had the same problem!

I Posted This for my THT Admins

THT Termination Cancellation Suspension

Suspension works fine within THT you can both Suspend and Re-Instate the User with no Problems.

Cancellation Removes the account from the package in THT and Deletes the Client Account in Kloxo Completely. The Client Details stay within THT so the only way now to delete the Client Details is through phpMyAdmin as the Termination Option is now Invalid.

Termination Completely removes the account from THT and the Kloxo Client Package which is working fine.

This was on Kloxo so in effect the Cancel Description is a little misleading or just forget using it as the only use it has is to delete everything from Kloxo, but Stop the User from signing up again if using the same IP and Details.

Problem with that is you will need to enter phpMyAdmin if you wish to Purge Canceled Accounts.

May as well Just Use Terminate or Suspend.

I've updated the cancel message in r287 to accurately reflect what cancel actually does.
