1.3.5 problem with clientdetails.tpl
#1
THT Version: THT 1.3.5
Your THT installation URL: N/A
Browser (including version): N/A
Your Operating System: N/A
Server's Operating System: CentOS 5
httpd Version: httpd-2.2.22-1
Control Panel Type: Kloxo Latest Stable

Problem:
I cannot see what has been done to the original 1.2.3 in 1.3.5 Installation to Cause The Following:

Could someone tell me where the template is for the Client details that inserts a:
"Current Package: Select Box with Force the upgrade to happen immediately."

I either need to be rid of it, or find a way to let the default clientdetails.tpl which I have modified, insert the extra tables.

I have the:
clientdetails.tpl
a modified version for Client Validation and within it I have Code that checks a Spammer Database, Gets Map of Address and Checks For Hackers.

The problem is this extra template, (Current Package: Select Box with Force the upgrade to happen immediately), seems to be interfering with the Client Details when opened up from the Validation View.

Or something is interfering with the clientdetails.tpl template which was not in the other versions of THT.

The clientdetails.tpl works fine in 1.2.3
(with the modifications I have made)

This 1.3.5 does not appear to be outputting tables from clientdetails.tpl

The theme I am using is bluelust but I do not see how that would make a difference.

I have created a P2H package and a Basic Package.
Is it that I have Two Packages that this creates this area?
If I delete it so I can only use 1 Package will it go away?

Many thanks in Anticipation of a Solution!

Well it not the theme.

I don't think it is even using the clientdetails.tpl as the Client Details template anymore.

So if not what is it using?

This has turned into a massive headache.

Its in /include/tpl/modules/navens_upgrade_system_1_0/admin and I added that line so you can upgrade accounts if you want to.

Also, to avoide having to manually rummage through code with is super annoying, get a copy of Notepad++. Its free and allows you to search in files for text in them. Just hit Ctrl+f, go to the "find in files" tab, select the directory to search in, type what you want to find, and hit "find all." If it doesn't show up, then enter a portion of what you're trying to find. That's how I found what you were looking for.

Thanks againWink

I do actually use notepad++ in Wine for replacement in large databases.
(I gave up on windows when I left nappies)

However, being a great believer in leaving core files alone I wondered if it was something I was doing.

As for the Search through the files perhaps we need a Wiki for this off-shoot.
Listing the Files and the functions.

Not to say I and many others do not appreciate the work you and others have put in, it is just that I have actually tried what you suggested but nothing came back in the Search.

So it drove me MAD!
(like any search, you must know the right term to use!)

Thanks for the Solution, I really do appreciate it!

Well I left the file as was, but added the tables to the file.
root/includes/tpl/modules/navens_upgrade_system_1_0/admin/clientdetails.tpl

Here is what confused me.

I was NOT searching for a duplicated clientdetails.tpl file, (it just did not occur to me that there would be two in the installation).
As it was buried a little deep I did not go there as I mistakingly thought that this would be a php file that was causing the problem, (so the Searches I made were useless).

Just out of curiosity is the:
root/includes/tpl/clientdetails.tpl
now a redundant file that is safe to remove as I would hate another Admin to go through that again.
At least if it is removed, logic says it is to found elsewhere.

For now I have put a comment in:
root/includes/tpl/clientdetails.tpl
Code:
<!-- This file appears redundant as the file being used is in the following Directory:
root/includes/tpl/modules/navens_upgrade_system_1_0/admin/clientdetails.tpl -->
However I would rather remove the file, as the comment does not stand out with the .tpl extension.

Takes a little getting used to this 1.3.5 as opposed to the 1.2.3.

Really nice work though.

Thanks again.
