Install Problem Step 1 reports "Undefined"
#1
I am really looking forward to using this script but cannot get install to go beyond step 1.
I have tried install using Firefox and it appeared to hang on "step 3 running queries" while quoted text was bold/ highlighted.
config.inc.php had been modifed by install but no mysql tables were created.
I also tried IE8 in case of ajax problem. Step 1 reports "undefined" in the dialogue field.
Hopefully someone can help? Smile I've searched all over the forum and while there are similar problems that have error log reports, I have none. Also I have a 'Hash' section on my phpinfo.
Hosting is Linux - Hostagator. Script was downloaded today v1.2.3

Odd. Are you sure your MySQL details are correct? If you want, you can PM me the database details and I'll attempt to set it up myself.

I fixed his problem by installing it myself. I'm thinking it was just a corrupt MySQL database or something. If you want, please PM me with your cPanel details and how you would like it setup and I'd be happy to do it.

Thanks for sorting mine, Kevin.
I think that this must be some ambiguity in the installation guide. Could it be the domain format during install? http:// or no http:// or something similar?
I recall looking at the domain field and another field (home possibly) and had them both set the same - domainname.com

Your Site URL MUST include the protocol. Eg: http:// or https://
