I got the same problem here, this is quite annoying because I am planning to release my hosting website soon. I have tried it 3 times and it keeps getting stuck at the creating of staff page. I click that button and it says working...
My MySQL version is: 5.1.30 might help you.
Thanks,
Bob

Thanks, can you tell me, when you go into phpmyadmin, does the database you told it to use have tables in it?

I asked you that question because I was trying to figure the problem.
Could you go into the database and look in the staff one. Is there any values in there?

you would need to manually md5 and salt the password, it would probably be easier to just re-download a fresh copy and re-install, deleting the mysql database and creating a new one.

Well I have already tried that for mmm 12 TIMES. The whole point of this is that the fourth step doesnt work for my database. This means that I have to manually change the link in the database and add a staff acount. I am asking if someone can send me the staff database.sql with an account on it and tell me the password of it so i can add that in my database.
Alright I figured out how to fill it in but what value do i write for salt and perm?
